CHAVÓN The School of Design offers two and three-year college-level programs leading to the equivalent of an American AAS degree, with majors in the fields of Fashion, (including a choice of Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing & Communications), Fine Arts, Film, Interior Design and Visual Communications (including a choice of Communications Design, Illustration or Animation).

These intensive, highly practical and industry-oriented majors provide a comprehensive visual arts education that gives CHAVÓN graduates to competitive edge, nationally and internationally, as design and arts professionals. More than 2,000 students from the Dominican Republic and around the world have graduated from CHAVÓN, and the school's alumni hold important and exciting positions as art and design professionals throughout the world and in the Dominican Republic.

Graduates of CHAVÓN's two-year college-level programs have the unique option to continue their studies in New York for two more years, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Parsons School of Design, one of the world's most important institutions of art and design education Under the 2 + 2 program, graduates have the option of continuing their studies if they have maintained a B (3.0) average at CHAVÓN and meet Parsons' admissions and English language fluency requirements.

The language of instruction at CHAVÓN is Spanish.
