Studied Screenwriting and Documentary Filmmaking at La Fémis (Fondation Européenne pour les Métiers de l’Image et du Son), France.

Worked for 4 years as Director of Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV), San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba.

Works as a writer and analyst of fiction and documentary scripts.

Teaches script workshops in several public and private institutions.

Director of Educational Television Projects for the Ministry of Education.

Responsible for development strategies for the National Film Directorate of the Dominican Republic (DGCINE).

Worked on the elaboration of the bill for the current Cinema Law of the Dominican Republic.

Executive Producer of the Documentary Series Ser un Ser Humano, created by documentary students from seven film schools around the world.

Advisor to DGCINE, Analyst for Ibermedia, curator and coordinator of meetings and workshops for various institutions and festivals around the world.

Since the 1990s, she has worked as a consultant for audiovisual projects and as cultural manager.

In 2011, she received the medal for Personalidad Cultural from the Ministry of Culture of the Dominican Republic, for her outstanding work in the cultural field abroad.

Obtained the award Distinción de la Cultura Nacional de Cuba, 2012.
