Pilar Alvárez

Graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Universidad de Salamanca.

Diploma in Documentary Filmmaking from Instituto del Cine de Madrid.

Studied Documentary Direction at Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV), San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba.

Her work has been exhibited individually and as part of collectives in different galleries, such as the Círculo de Bellas Artes, Madrid; the Festival Foto España and the Instituto Cervantes.

Director of several short films and audiovisual installations.

Has received several awards, including the Young Artists Award from Castilla y León.
