Since 1993 Scherezade has had more than 15 individual shows; participated in over 50 group shows, including the Smithsonian Institution’s 2014–2017 traveling exhibit Our America: The Latino Presence in American Art; and received more than 10 awards. She has also been the illustrator for handbag designer Carlos Falchi as well as for other firms in the fashion industry. She teaches at Parsons School of Design.

Scherezade’s work can be found in the private collections of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, New York City’s El Museo del Barrio, and the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Her work is included in the permanent collection of Latino art at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, D.C.
