Ishtar Yassin

Master of Arts Degree from VGIK State Institute of Cinematography in Moscou, specializing in acting techniques for cinema and theater.

Founder of Teatro Ámbar, where she developed as a playwright, director and actress.

Her work “Agonice con elegancia” was awarded with the prestigious Premio Nacional de Teatro in Costa Rica.

The premiere of her feature film “El Camino” at the Berlin International Film Festival, 2008, was followed by screenings in more than 40 different countries, receiving more than 15 international awards, including the Special Jury Prize at the International Film Festival in Freiburg, Switzerland.
