Fernando Valenzuela

Graduated from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, Italy with  a degree in Cinematography.

President of the Writers Association of Cuba.

Started his career working for Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, and as an editor has collaborated with Ignacio Agüero, Miguel Littin and Pablo Larrain, among others.

Speaker at the International Theater Institute (ITI) in Prague, Latin American Youth Center in Washington DC, Casas de las Américas in Madrid, Intimate Theater in Dublin, University of Oxford, England, among others.

Awarded with the Coral de Oro de Asamblea prize at the Havana Festival.
