Better known as Gigi Polo, Niberca opened her studio, Myellow Boots, in 2005, first while working as art director for Maurice Villency and later as an independent designer for Condé Nast, Hearst, Carnegie Hall, and the New York City Department of Education, among others. Gigi is art director and cofounder of the PrinterNet Studio and professor of design, media, and film at Parsons School of Design, LIM College, the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center, and the College of Staten Island.
