The Animation career at CHAVÓN School of Design provides students with the necessary skills to act through the pencil. Led by a faculty of outstanding professionals, this study plan offers a focus on traditional drawing integrated with contemporary and digital media, in accordance with the immense labor demand presented by large animation studios, such as: Disney, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks and Blue Sky Studios, among others. The program aims to create a solid drawing base that strengthens certain aspects of animation (such as texture, sensitivity and understanding of movement), in order to open a space that generates imperfections and is used in favor: producing believable worlds and characters. with character, where the work of the Chavonero animator will stand out.

The Animation career seeks to exploit the simplicity of technology and the human touch through an innovative curriculum. After starting with the visual literacy of the chavonero, the foundations of effective visual communication are laid through the practices and techniques that define the voice of the artist. In this first phase the student will be equipped with the discipline to handle the workload that the trade entails; The subjects continue with the approach to the fundamentals of 2D and 3D Animation, in order to learn to tell stories sequentially, produce animation projects for film and television, using techniques such as Stop Motion, reinforcing their collaborative work skills. Finally, a personal project is carried out that will allow the student to learn about the processes of production, creation and design within the world of animation.
