CHAV\u00d3N<\/strong> The School of Design offers two and three-year college-level programs leading to the equivalent of an American AAS degree, with majors in the fields of Fashion, (including a choice of Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing & Communications), Fine Arts, Film, Interior Design and Visual Communications (including a choice of Communications Design, Illustration or Animation). <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These intensive, highly practical and industry-oriented majors provide a comprehensive visual arts education that gives CHAV\u00d3N<\/strong> graduates to competitive edge, nationally and internationally, as design and arts professionals. More than 2,000 students from the <\/font><\/font><\/font><\/font>Dominican Republic and around the world have graduated from <\/font><\/font>CHAV\u00d3N<\/strong>, and the school’s alumni hold important and exciting positions as art and design professionals throughout the world and in the Dominican Republic. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Graduates of CHAV\u00d3N’s<\/strong> two-year college-level programs have the unique option to continue their studies in New York for two more years, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Parsons School of Design, one of the world’s most important institutions of art and design education Under the 2 + 2 program, graduates have the option of continuing their studies if they have maintained a B (3.0) average at CHAV\u00d3N and meet Parsons’ admissions and English language fluency requirements. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The language of instruction at CHAV\u00d3N<\/strong> is Spanish.<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n\n\n\n
