Located in Altos de Chavón at Casa de Campo, the La Romana Campus is an iconic space that has been a fundamental part of CHAVÓN’s history and legacy. Although Technical Programs are taught in Santo Domingo, students visit La Romana during their studies to participate in intensive workshops, special activities, and experiences that connect them with the cultural and artistic legacy of this institution. Additionally, programs such as “Artists in Residence” are developed here, and activities with other institutions are carried out, fostering collaboration between artists and designers from different parts of the world.

The Village of Altos de Chavón
Located in the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, Altos de Chavón is a dynamic center of art that is home to art studios, crafts workshops, galleries, restaurants, the Church of St. Stanislaus, and the School of Design.

Built in 1976 by Italian architect Roberto Copa, Altos de Chavón is a Mediterranean-style village, that hosts The Altos de Chavón Cultural Center Foundation, and is also home to a museum of archaeology, and an artist in residence program.
