The Village of Altos de Chavón

Located in the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, Altos de Chavón is a dynamic center of art that is home to art studios, crafts workshops, galleries, restaurants, the Church of St. Stanislaus, and the School of Design.

The Village of Altos de Chavón

Built in 1976 by Italian architect Roberto Copa, Altos de Chavón is a Mediterranean-style village, that hosts The Altos de Chavón Cultural Center Foundation, and is also home to a museum of archaeology, and an artist in residence program.
